PM highlights commitment to press freedom
 
SANA'A, September 04 (Saba) - Yemen has donated $100,000 to support disaster-relief efforts from Hurricane Katrina, which hit the US southeast five days ago, an official in the cabinet stated Sunday.

Through the International Red Cross, Yemen's assistance would be delivered to the US government, the official told 26sep.net.

Hurricane Katrina left thousands of victims in its wake and caused losses estimated at more than $100 billion.
